Snorkeling with turtles right off the beach was an unforgettable experience. The staff were so attentive, especially our concierge who ensured our every need was met.

Incredible beachfront location with stunning views that set the perfect romantic backdrop. The swimming pool areas offer a relaxing atmosphere, while the Barefoot Grill serves some fantastic quesadillas served right at the beach.

The food vibes didn’t quite hit the spot, feeling bland with a lack of Mexican spice despite the beautiful presentation. I noticed some disorganization around the welcome experience with aggressive sales pitches, which can put a damper on settling in. The noise from large groups celebrating special occasions added more of a party atmosphere than the intimate ambiance I expected, which was a letdown for a couples-focused resort.

everything at secrets was fabulous! the staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. we loved seeing turtles while snorkeling right off the beautiful beach. our junior suite swim out was just perfect and provided easy access to a relaxing pool.

Perfect for a romantic getaway

We had this amazing private swim-out suite and it felt like our own little paradise. The staff treated us like royalty, always remembering our names and our favorite drinks, especially Edgar at breakfast who always had my green juice ready.

The price was quite steep but worth it for such an incredible experience.
